Overview Accurex Accu Test Vitamin D Test Kit

The Accu-Check Vitamin D rapid diagnostic test employs chromatographic immunoassay technology to offer a preliminary, semi-quantitative assessment of vitamin D concentrations in human serum or whole blood. This screening test necessitates confirmation via a definitive laboratory method for conclusive results. Its performance characteristics remain unvalidated for pediatric applications. Intended use: This kit qualitatively detects vitamin D levels in human blood/serum samples. Technical details: The test utilizes a competitive enzyme immunoassay format. 25-hydroxyvitamin D in the sample competes with immobilized vitamin D on the test strip for binding sites on antibody-gold conjugate. The intensity of the resulting colored test line directly correlates with the sample's vitamin D concentration; a control line ensures proper test function. Results should be interpreted within 10 minutes; accuracy may diminish thereafter. Thorough sample mixing is crucial for consistent outcomes, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles on serum samples should be avoided. Instructions: Remove the device from its foil pouch and place it on a stable, flat surface. Using a micropipette, dispense 10 µL of whole blood or 5 µL of serum into the designated sample well (red drop indicator). Add three full drops of buffer solution to the designated well; avoid moving the cassette afterward. Interpret results after a 10-minute incubation period. Precautions: For in vitro diagnostic use exclusively with human blood/serum samples. Reagents should be at room temperature (8-30°C). Discard if packaging is compromised or the expiration date is surpassed. Handle samples as biohazards; adhere to appropriate safety and disposal protocols. Consult product labeling before use. Store in a cool, dry location, shielded from direct sunlight, and keep out of reach of children. External use only.

How to Use Accurex Accu Test Vitamin D Test Kit:

Extract the cassette from its protective packaging and position it on a stable, level surface, ensuring the viewing window is uppermost. Immediately introduce 10 µl of whole blood or 5 µl of serum into the designated sample well (red droplet indicator). Subsequently, dispense three full drops of buffer solution into the cassette's designated buffer well. Avoid moving the cassette once the buffer is added. Allow a 10-minute incubation period before promptly interpreting the results. Accuracy diminishes beyond this timeframe.
