Its applications center on precise RBC, WBC, and platelet quantification. Key features include automated reagent aspiration and tubing rinsing, automatic background testing, and automatic report generation (with or without histogram). A programmable sleep mode conserves energy after inactivity. Auditory and visual alarms alert users to errors or abnormal readings. Automated cleaning protocols maintain system integrity. Independent RBC/platelet and WBC/hemoglobin (HGB) measurement chambers ensure accurate and efficient counting, minimizing misclassification errors through precisely sized apertures. The system offers three-part WBC differentiation and automated functions encompassing self-tests, calibration, sampling, dilution, mixing, printing, sleep mode activation, alarms, cleaning, and maintenance. It processes up to 60 samples per hour and provides a comprehensive 20-parameter analysis, categorized by cell type for simplified reporting. Abnormal results trigger an audible alarm.
