The Accurex Lipid Analyzer employs photochemical principles and utilizes blood lipid test strips (LPS-101, TCS-101, TGS-101, HLS-101) for analysis. A whole blood sample, introduced to the strip's sample area, undergoes rapid filtration or dissolution of blood cells. Subsequent enzymatic reactions within the strip's reactive layer produce a color change directly proportional to analyte concentration. This device quantitatively measures Total Cholesterol (TC), High-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol (HDL), Triglycerides (TG), the TC/HDL ratio, and Low-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol (LDL) in capillary, venous, plasma, and serum samples. Features include photochemical analysis for professional healthcare settings, a memory capacity of 500 results, rechargeable battery operation, and user-friendly design. Maintenance includes keeping the meter and test strip holder clean and dry, avoiding extreme temperatures and humidity, and performing an optical check after accidental drops or wetting. Disassembly voids the warranty. Safety precautions mandate careful label review, storage in a cool, dry location, out of reach of children, and avoidance of liquids and sources of heat.
