Overview Accurex MLA-1 Lipid Analyzer Test Strip
Accurex MLA-1 Lipid Analyzer test strips employ a fixed-time endpoint assay to quantify total cholesterol (TC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL), and triglycerides (TG) in whole blood, serum, or plasma. LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) is derived from TC, TG, and HDL concentrations. The device measures absorbance changes at 620 nm at a predetermined interval; absorbance variations directly correlate with lipid levels. Intended use: lipid profile analysis. Product specifications: This 3-in-1 lipid panel, used with a compatible blood lipid or dry biochemistry analyzer, measures TC, HDL, TG, and calculated LDL-C in whole blood, serum, and plasma. These measurements aid in diagnosing and managing atherosclerotic coronary artery disease and lipid metabolic disorders. Storage: Store unopened strips at 20-30°C (68-86°F) or 2-8°C (35-46°F). Bring strips to room temperature (20-30°C) before use; do not freeze. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Retain desiccant packets (if provided). Replace the vial cap immediately after each strip removal. Use strips immediately after removal. Store the MEMo chip in its original packaging, separate from the test strips. Do not mix strips from different lots. Instructions: Equilibrate strips, sample, and controls to 10-35°C before testing. Insert and correctly code the MEMo chip, ensuring code chip and canister numbers match. Verify specimen type matches meter settings. Remove a strip and wait for the meter prompt. Insert the strip correctly, following the directional arrows. For venous specimens, mix thoroughly for 15 minutes. For capillary blood, discard the first drop and collect 35 µL of the second or third drop. Apply 35 µL of the specimen to the designated area using a pipette or capillary tube. Results (mg/dL or mmol/L) appear within 2 minutes. The default unit is mg/dL. Refer to the analyzer manual for unit conversion. Safety: For in vitro diagnostic use only. Do not use expired or damaged strips. Handle all specimens as potentially infectious. Dispose of used strips appropriately. Always verify the MEMo chip matches the test strip lot before use, inserting the chip into the meter's designated slot. Ensure correct specimen type selection.
How to Use Accurex MLA-1 Lipid Analyzer Test Strip:
Ensure all components (test strip, sample, and controls) attain operational temperature (10-35℃) prior to commencing the assay. Insert the encoded microchip into the device and confirm proper encoding. Verify the microchip code matches the code printed on the test strip packaging; discrepancies will compromise accuracy. Confirm sample type compatibility; adjust device settings as needed. Retrieve the test strip from its packaging. Await the device prompt to insert the strip. Fully insert the strip into the designated port, adhering to the directional arrows. Prepare the sample. For venous whole blood/plasma/serum: thoroughly mix for 15 minutes. For capillary blood: discard the initial drop. Using a capillary tube or pipette, collect 35μL of the second or third capillary blood drop. Gently draw the sample to the fill line. Once the device displays the blood drop icon, apply 35μL of the sample to the designated area of the strip using a pipette or capillary tube. Ensure accurate application by aligning the pipette tip with the marked area. Four dashes will appear, indicating assay initiation. Results will be displayed after a 2-minute incubation period.
Safety Instruction of Accurex MLA-1 Lipid Analyzer Test Strip:
- Intended solely for laboratory diagnostic applications.
- Keep the test strips in their unopened container until needed.
- Discard after the expiry date.
- Avoid contact with the test strip's reagent zone.
- Dispose of any test strips showing discoloration or damage.
- Treat all samples as if they pose a potential health risk, employing identical safety protocols to those used with infectious materials.
- Dispose of used test strips properly, following all applicable local guidelines.
- Verify the test strip code chip prior to initiating the test. Ensure the code chip used originates from the test strip packaging. Insert the code chip into its designated slot.
- The medication meter's code chip receptacle is situated on its left side.
- Confirm the sample type matches the type analyzed.
