The Accurex Sphera M, an Italian-manufactured, fully automated clinical chemistry analyzer, offers rapid, precise testing. This compact, open random-access system boasts a minimal 210 µl reaction volume and exceptionally low water consumption (<1 L/h). Utilizing 80 reusable UV-transmitting Bionex® plastic cuvettes and an 8-step wash station, it features a refrigerated tray accommodating 30 reagent positions (50 ml or 20 ml bottles) and supports multiple programmable virtual reagent disks. Internal and external probe auto-washing is included. Its capabilities include a throughput of 200 tests/hour (excluding ISE), primary tube and sample cup handling, continuous on-board reagent refrigeration (30 reagents, 60 samples), and integrated liquid level and needle shock detection. Large liquid containers with level sensors, Windows 7/8 & USB compatibility, LIS ethernet connectivity, and automated start-up/shutdown are standard. The system employs two specialized wash solutions for optimal probe cleaning, and features 8 peristaltic pumps (1000-hour lifespan) with replaceable neoprene cassettes (500-hour lifespan), along with 2 vacuum pumps and a pinch valve. Data analysis tools include Levey-Jennings plots, Westgard multi-rules, QC monitoring with reporting (up to 3 levels per test), test counters, CV%, mean, graphical trend analysis, and reagent/method monitoring (volumes, tests, calibration, QC status). Automatic calibrator pre-dilution (up to 8 per method) and auto-result recalculation are also provided. The robust cleaning system uses an 8-step wash process (6 dispensing, 6 aspiration, 1 cleaning needles) and dual wash solutions to eliminate stubborn probe residues.

Automated pre-dilution of calibrators is supported, with capacity for up to eight calibrators per analytical method. Results are automatically recalculated using the most recent calibration data.
