Accu-Dip urine reagent strips are durable plastic strips incorporating multiple reagent zones. These strips facilitate qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of urinary analytes, including blood, pH, nitrite, and leukocytes. Designed for single use in point-of-care and centralized laboratory settings, these strips provide a rapid assessment of urinary components. Urine analysis serves as a valuable indicator of overall health, offering insights into various systemic processes before significant blood composition changes manifest. This test aids in routine health screenings and the diagnosis and monitoring of kidney function, endocrine imbalances, and urinary tract disorders. Applications include comprehensive health evaluations and diagnosis of conditions identifiable through urinalysis. This kit enables swift screening for diabetic neuropathy, glucose, protein, ketones, and microalbumin. The disposable, ready-to-use strip features three reagent zones for glucose, protein, pH, and microalbumin analysis, requiring no additional laboratory equipment. The strips are packaged in a desiccant-containing, airtight plastic bottle. Instructions: Bring the strip, urine sample, and controls to room temperature (15-30°C) before testing. 1) Remove a strip, immediately reseal the container, and fully immerse the reagent zones in fresh, well-mixed urine, then promptly remove to prevent reagent dissolution. (See illustration 1). 2) Gently wipe the strip edge against the urine container rim to remove excess fluid; hold horizontally and blot the edge on absorbent material to prevent reagent mixing or contamination. (See illustration 2). 3) Compare reagent colors to the color chart on the container at the specified times, holding the strip near the chart for accurate comparison. (See illustration 3). Results can be read up to 2 minutes post-specified time or via a urine analyzer (refer to the manual). Safety Precautions: Read the label thoroughly. Store in a cool, dry location, away from children. For in-vitro diagnostic use only; do not use beyond the expiry date. Keep the strips in the sealed container until use; avoid touching reagent areas. Discard discolored or degraded strips. Handle all samples as potentially infectious. Dispose of used strips according to local regulations.

How to Use Accurex Urinalysis Reagent Test Strip:

Before testing, ensure the dipstick, urine sample, and controls have equilibrated to room temperature (15-30°C). First, retrieve a dipstick from its sealed container (reseal immediately after use). Submerge the reagent pads fully in a fresh, thoroughly mixed urine sample; promptly withdraw to prevent reagent dissolution (see Figure 1). Next, gently remove excess urine by briefly contacting the dipstick edge against the container rim. Then, horizontally blot the strip's edge on absorbent material (e.g., paper towel) to prevent reagent cross-contamination and avoid urine transfer (see Figure 2). Finally, compare the developed reagent pad colors to the corresponding color chart on the container at the specified times, holding the strip adjacent to the chart for accurate color matching (see Figure 3).
