The Accurex Xpress A1c Hemoglobin Test System is a self-administered kit for precisely quantifying HbA1c levels in whole blood. Ideal for diabetes self-management, it integrates pipette and measurement functions. An 8µL blood sample, drawn via capillary action, is sufficient. Hb analysis requires inserting the Xpress A1c test strip into the dedicated meter, which uses dual-wavelength absorbance analysis at the hemoglobin isosbestic point, eliminating the need for user calibration. Applications include HbA1c quantification in whole blood for diabetes monitoring and risk assessment. Product details: Facilitates diabetes management and risk evaluation; quantitatively measures HbA1c in whole blood for self-monitoring; employs dual-wavelength light analysis for hemoglobin determination; compatible with whole blood, EDTA blood, and capillary blood samples; measuring range: 0-25 g/dL; operating temperature: 0-50°C; storage: room temperature; shelf life: minimum 2 years; pack size: 25 tests. Instructions: Test preparation: Follow accompanying BioHermes instructions; dissolve contents by adding two drops of Buffer A to the vial, shaking until fully dissolved. Stability: 24 months at 2-8°C (sealed); 8 hours at 10-30°C; 5 days at 2-8°C post-dissolution. Testing: 1. Wash and dry hands; 2. Power on the meter; 3. Insert a test strip; 4. Obtain a finger-prick blood sample; 5. Apply the blood sample to the strip's edge (capillary action will draw the blood); 6. Insert the saturated strip into the meter; 7. Read the HbA1c result on the display; 8. Discard the strip; the meter will power off automatically.
