The Accurex Xpress Gluco Blood Glucose Test System utilizes electroanalytical amperometry to determine blood glucose levels. This system employs test strips that react with a blood sample, generating a minute electrical current measured by the compatible glucometer to display the glucose concentration. Intended for self-monitoring by both healthcare professionals and individuals at home, this precise method delivers results within 5 seconds using only 0.5µL of capillary whole blood. The system's measurement range is 20-800 mg/dL, with a hematocrit range of 25-55%. Alternate site testing is possible. No coding is needed; compatibility is limited to Accurex glucometers. Each strip contains glucose oxidase (Aspergillus sp.) ≥ 1 IU and is plasma-calibrated for easy comparison with laboratory results. This device is not intended for diagnosing diabetes or use with neonate samples. Results are displayed in mg/dL as plasma-equivalent values. **Directions:** Use only with fresh capillary whole blood and a compatible Accurex glucometer. Remove a strip, immediately resealing the vial. Insert the strip into the meter; the meter will self-check and display a flashing blood drop symbol. Apply a sufficient blood sample (at least 0.5µL) to the test zone while the symbol flashes until the meter beeps. The result will display after 5 seconds and be stored in memory. Eject the strip to power down. Properly dispose of used lancets and strips. **Storage:** Store strips in their original vial in a cool, dry place (0°-50°C/32°-122°F), away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Close the vial tightly after each use. Check the expiry date before use.
