Alfol Z capsules offer a hematinic formulation featuring a unique Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose complex, alongside Vitamin B12 and folic acid. The key ingredient, the Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose complex (IPC), provides non-ionic iron bound to polymaltose for superior stability. Unlike traditional ferrous iron salts, the ferric iron in IPC minimizes free radical generation. This complex boasts rapid absorption, efficient iron utilization, robust hemoglobin synthesis, and excellent gastrointestinal tolerability.
