Overview Bifido Capsule

Bifido, a hard gelatin capsule dietary supplement, provides probiotic support. Each capsule contains spores of *Lactobacillus acidophilus*, *Lactobacillus rhamnosus*, *Bifidobacterium longum*, and *Saccharomyces boulardii*. As defined by the WHO, probiotics are live microorganisms offering health benefits when ingested in sufficient quantities. These beneficial bacteria, residing within the gut, produce enzymes and inhibit harmful bacterial growth. Common probiotic strains include lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria, both present in Bifido. This supplement aids in managing diarrhea (including traveler's diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome), as well as indigestion stemming from intestinal damage or disrupted gut flora. Additional benefits may include relief from enteric infections (such as infant salmonellosis), acute and chronic diarrhea, flatulence (abdominal distension), gastroenteritis, colitis, and chronic/atrophic gastroenteritis.
