Bromalt syrup combines Iron(III)-hydroxide polymaltose and folic acid. Iron(III)-hydroxide polymaltose complex (IPC), a ferric iron preparation bound to polymaltose, offers superior absorption and utilization compared to ferrous iron salts, minimizing free radical formation. This results in efficient hemoglobin synthesis and excellent digestive tolerability.
