Cacid-MPS Suspension combines dried aluminum hydroxide gel, magnesium hydroxide, activated dimethicone, and sorbitol. Aluminum hydroxide acts as an antacid, alleviating heartburn and acid indigestion. Magnesium hydroxide serves as a laxative, easing occasional constipation by drawing water into the bowels to stimulate peristalsis. It also counteracts stomach acidity and related symptoms like heartburn and indigestion. Activated dimethicone's antifoaming action reduces excessive intestinal gas, relieving abdominal discomfort and bloating. Sorbitol, a low-calorie sweetener common in liquid medications, also possesses mild laxative properties. Cacid-MPS Suspension is indicated for hyperacidity, peptic ulcers, and gastritis, offering relief from heartburn, acidity, and abdominal bloating. Dosage: Administer orally twice daily as directed by a physician.
