Augmentation procedures (horizontal and vertical ridge augmentation, maxillary sinus augmentation). Surgical interventions such as root resection and cyst removal, addressing various bone lesions. Thorough debridement of granulation tissue is essential. After site preparation, graft material may be introduced into the defect. Secure immobilization is crucial to prevent micromovement and compromised bone integration; sutures or a fixation system may be employed. Primary wound closure, maintaining flap integrity, is necessary. Contraindications mirroring those for bone grafts—acute/chronic bone infection, poorly controlled diabetes, prolonged high-dose steroid use, compromised site vascularity, metabolic bone disease, and smoking/alcohol abuse—preclude the use of this material.
