Overview Cologenesis Coloplug

Cologenesis Coloplug, a biocompatible collagen matrix, is crafted from purified bovine type-I collagen. Its porous structure facilitates absorption of fluids and blood at the treatment site. The collagen fibers inherent in Coloplug contribute to hemostasis, controlling bleeding. Furthermore, it safeguards the wound and promotes faster healing. Applications include: Facilitating closure of extraction sites and managing bleeding in extraction sockets and biopsy sites. Suitable for use in extraction sites, four-walled sockets, biopsy locations, and various oral hemostasis procedures. Product Characteristics: It shields the wound and accelerates tissue regeneration. Complete resorption occurs within 10–12 days, providing a scaffold for new tissue formation. It's easily trimmed intraoperatively for precise placement. It can be moistened with saline or local blood. Integration with the surrounding connective tissue occurs via resorption and ingrowth. It secures graft material in its desired location.
