Overview Cologenesis Diacoll Sterile Dry Collagen Sheet with Gentamicin Dressing

Diacoll Cologenesis Sterile Collagen-Gentamicin Dressing is a sterile, sponge-like/transparent collagen sheet infused with gentamicin sulfate. This biocompatible implant utilizes highly purified bovine type I collagen, sourced from rigorously controlled and certified animals, as a carrier for the broad-spectrum antibiotic gentamicin. The collagen's high purity minimizes any potential antigenicity. Gentamicin sulfate offers potent topical antibacterial action against primary and secondary skin infections. Indicated for: Second-degree burns, superficial wounds, infected lesions, skin graft sites, surgical incisions. Pressure injuries, venous leg ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers. Product Characteristics: Gamma-irradiated for sterility; exhibits antibacterial and antiseptic qualities. User-friendly, durable, flexible, and single-use. Collagen bioabsorption occurs gradually over 6-10 days post-application. Diacoll's advanced triple-helix collagen processing ensures optimal flexibility, structural integrity, and predictable resorption. Application Instructions: Cleanse and prepare wound bed thoroughly to remove debris. Debride infected wounds completely. Achieve hemostasis at donor sites. Aseptically remove and gently unfold the Diacoll sheet. Moisten the sheet with sterile saline solution. Apply firmly to the wound surface, avoiding stretching. Eliminate any trapped air bubbles. Avoid applying topical ointments or creams directly to the dressing. Precautions: Contraindicated in patients with collagen hypersensitivity. Store in a cool, dry place, shielded from direct sunlight. Always review product labeling prior to use. Keep out of children's reach. For external use only.
