Applications include: partial-thickness burns (second degree), superficial and deep dermal burns; temporary coverage for full-thickness burns (third degree); traumatic skin loss; temporary coverage in major open fractures; and skin graft donor sites. Key properties include inherent antibacterial action to minimize infection risk; rapid, secure adherence with breathability; maintenance of local warmth and promotion of healthy granulation tissue; accelerated healing and preparation for grafting in deep wounds; durability, flexibility, and disposability; gamma sterilization; and a preservation medium of isopropyl alcohol and water. Instructions: Begin with thorough wound cleansing and debridement of infected areas. Remove the dressing from its packaging, gently squeezing out excess preservative. Rinse thoroughly (2-3 times) with sterile saline to remove residual alcohol. Apply firmly to the wound, ensuring no air bubbles remain. Avoid secondary dressings; the sheet will naturally detach with epithelialization. Redressing is only necessary if the sheet is rejected due to infection or complications. For donor sites, apply after achieving hemostasis. Chronic ulcers may benefit from 2-3 applications every 2-3 days, following thorough cleansing.
