The MyLab CoviSelf COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Self-Test (RAT) is India's pioneering at-home COVID-19 diagnostic. This in-vitro test qualitatively detects COVID-19 antigens in nasal swab samples from symptomatic or asymptomatic individuals, or those with epidemiological risk factors. Results are available within 20 minutes, conveniently viewed via the MyLab app. Each kit includes testing components, instructions, and a biohazard bag for safe disposal. A nasal swab, minimizing discomfort, is employed instead of a nasopharyngeal swab. Product dimensions: 14 x 14 x 2 cm. Net weight: 100g. The RAT enables convenient, comfortable home testing. Features include a virucidal solution-filled tube for biohazard containment, a unique QR code for precise report generation, and a secure swab. A positive result (novel coronavirus antigen detected) shows both control (C) and test (T) lines; a negative result displays only the C line. (Note: The T line may be faint; any pink/purple line indicates positive). Instructions: Wash and dry hands; prepare components; launch the MyLab CoviSelf app and enter credentials. Open the test cassette; scan the QR code. Extract the pre-filled buffer tube; tap to settle the buffer; unscrew the cap. Using the sterile swab, gently insert 2-4cm into each nostril, rotating five times. Dip the swab into the buffer tube, swirl ten times, break at the designated point, and discard the remaining swab. Add two drops of the mixture to the test device's sample well. Results appear within 10-15 minutes (20-minute maximum). The app will alert you to capture the image of the test result. Dispose of the used swab and tube in the biohazard bag. Store the kit at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and children. Do not freeze or use after the expiration date. This test is for self-administered nasal swabs by individuals 18 years and older (or adult-collected samples from children aged 2+). All testing is at the user's own risk. A positive result signifies viral antigen presence, requiring self-isolation and consultation with a healthcare provider.
