A topical gum medication, Dantax, combines antiseptic and astringent properties to address severe oral infections and inflammation. This formulation utilizes potassium iodide and iodine for their antibacterial and anti-infective actions; tannic acid, an astringent, to firm tissues and control bleeding; menthol for pain relief and a cooling sensation; and camphor for mild analgesia. Thymol further contributes antiseptic and antibacterial effects. A glycerin and purified water base supports these active ingredients. Dantax is suitable for managing painful gum conditions, inflamed and bleeding gums, teething discomfort, and stomatitis. Application involves gently massaging a small amount onto affected gums with a clean finger or cotton swab following brushing. Avoid rinsing or eating for at least 10 minutes to maximize absorption and tissue firming. Subsequently, rinse thoroughly and discard any residue; do not ingest.
