Diclofenac Forte gel, a topical analgesic, provides relief from acute musculoskeletal pain stemming from recent injuries like sprains, strains, or athletic trauma. It also offers pain management for conditions such as rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. Its active components include: 1. Diclofenac, an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug), that diminishes pain, swelling, and inflammation by blocking prostaglandin production. 2. Soothing linseed oil, which helps alleviate muscle soreness. 3. Methyl salicylate, an anti-inflammatory agent. 4. Menthol, for its cooling and analgesic effects. Application: Gently rub the gel onto the affected skin area. Allow at least 10 minutes for complete drying before covering the treated area with clothing or gloves. Wash hands thoroughly after application, unless the hands are the treatment site. Avoid bandages, heat application, or wrapping the treated area. For external use only.
