Magaldrate and Simethicone are the active components of Digesty Syrup, a formulation designed to alleviate symptoms associated with various functional gastrointestinal disorders. These include irritable bowel syndrome, functional dyspepsia, peptic ulcers, and gastroesophageal reflux disease, manifesting as abdominal bloating, flatulence, muscle spasms, hyperacidity, and general gastric discomfort. The antacid properties neutralize excess stomach acid, raising the pH in the stomach and duodenum. This elevated pH (above 4) suppresses pepsin's proteolytic action. While not forming a mucosal coating, Digesty Syrup provides localized astringent relief. Its effective antacid action makes it a suitable dietary supplement. Administration: 1.
