Fenext syrup, a formulation featuring elemental iron and folic acid, provides superior iron absorption with minimal gastrointestinal upset. Folic acid plays a crucial role in various metabolic processes, including nucleotide synthesis and homocysteine remethylation, particularly important during periods of rapid cellular growth.
