Ferup capsules provide elemental iron and folic acid. Iron facilitates oxygen distribution, vital for red blood cell production and overall energy levels, thereby preventing anemia. Folic acid plays a crucial role in various bodily processes, including nucleotide synthesis and homocysteine metabolism, particularly crucial during periods of rapid cellular growth. Both children and adults need folic acid for healthy red blood cell formation and anemia prevention. Indicated for iron-deficiency anemia in pregnant women, women of reproductive age, and those experiencing heavy menstrual bleeding. Administer orally with water post-meal. Physician supervision is recommended.
