Feroglobin, a nutritional supplement enriched with iron, is prescribed for treating iron-deficiency anemia. Each dose of Feroglobin delivers 25 mg of carbonyl iron (the most readily absorbed form), 500 mcg of folic acid, vitamin B12, and zinc. Folic acid facilitates nucleotide production by converting to tetrahydrofolate within the body. The combined action of iron and folic acid supports red blood cell development and maturation.
