Overview Folibless Tablet

Folibless tablets combine L-methylfolate and folic acid. L-methylfolate addresses low folate levels in some individuals' blood. Folic acid helps prevent neural tube defects and other birth defects. Many individuals have impaired conversion of standard folic acid to the active form, L-methylfolate. This diminished absorption significantly lowers available L-methylfolate, hindering the body's ability to maintain healthy folate reserves and increasing the risk of birth defects. L-methylfolate also reduces homocysteine, an amino acid associated with cardiovascular issues and pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia, low birth weight, miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss, and placental abruption.
