The Urine Alcohol Rapid Test Cassette offers highly sensitive alcohol detection in urine. A blue hue lighter than the 0.02% control indicates the presence of alcohol, though below 0.02% blood alcohol equivalent (BAC). If only the outer edges color, repeat the test to ensure proper urine saturation; the cassette is single-use only. Intended for urine alcohol screening. A positive result shows a blue color change, ranging from light blue (approximately 0.02% BAC) to dark blue (near 0.30% BAC), with color pads providing BAC approximations. Colors between pads indicate intermediate BACs. A negative result shows no color change. Discard cassettes displaying initial blue coloration. Directions: Bring the cassette to room temperature (15-30°C) before use. Use within one hour of pouch opening. Inspect the reactive pad; discard if blue. Bring the sealed test cassette to room temperature (15–30°C) before use. Open the pouch and perform the test within 60 minutes. Examine the reagent area in the cassette's viewing window. Discard the cassette if the reagent area shows any blue coloration before sample addition. Position the cassette on a flat, clean surface. Using a vertical dropper, add three full drops of urine (approximately 120µL) to the sample well; begin timing immediately. Ensure no air bubbles enter the sample well. Interpret the results after 3–5 minutes. Match the reagent pad's color to the provided color chart to estimate blood alcohol content.
