Magpot Syrup, formulated with magnesium citrate and potassium citrate, modifies urinary citrate levels. Potassium citrate primarily alters renal citrate handling, thus increasing urinary citrate excretion, and simultaneously hinders calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate crystal formation. Magnesium citrate further counteracts calcium oxalate crystal development in urine. Magpot Syrup alkalinizes urine, proving beneficial in gout and kidney stone management.
