Overview Mitocon Biomed OxySat Fingertip Pulse Oximeter
The Mitocon Biomed OxySat pulse oximeter provides rapid, precise measurements of blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate, and perfusion index. Its compact, lightweight design ensures portability. Featuring a user-friendly single-button operation and four display modes, it also incorporates automatic shutoff and an audible alert. Packaged with a protective case and two AAA batteries, this device offers convenient, high-accuracy readings. Key features include SpO2, pulse rate, and perfusion index monitoring, backed by an 18-month warranty. Instructions: Insert two AAA batteries, open the clip, and correctly position the user's finger within the sensor, ensuring proper alignment with the light source. Readings (SpO2 and pulse rate) appear once stable. Maintain stillness during measurement (update <60 seconds). Safety Precautions: Observe all label instructions. Store in a cool, dry, dark location, out of children's reach. When used near electrosurgical equipment, prioritize patient safety. Avoid use near flammable anesthetics or explosives.
How to Use Mitocon Biomed OxySat Fingertip Pulse Oximeter:
Insert two AAA batteries, then press the release button on the device's lid to open the sensor clamp. Ensure the user's finger is correctly positioned within the silicone pads of the clamp before gently closing it. Following stabilization of the plethysmograph waveform, the SpO2 and pulse rate will appear on the display. Correct placement is crucial: the sensor should face the back of the hand. The finger should be inserted far enough that the fingernail aligns with the sensor's light source. Maintain stillness throughout the measurement. Results refresh within 60 seconds.
