While generally well-tolerated, urea should be avoided by pregnant individuals and those with known urea allergies. DermaClear Ointment is indicated for the treatment of various necrotic skin conditions, including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, burns, post-surgical wounds, cysts, and carbuncles. It may also be employed to gently exfoliate excessively dry skin. Application involves cleansing the affected area, applying a thin layer of ointment, and covering with a sterile dressing. Hand hygiene is crucial before and after application. Typically, twice-daily application with fresh dressing changes is recommended. Use as directed by a healthcare professional.
