Overview Neurokab OD Capsule

Neurokab OD capsules contain methylcobalamin, pyridoxine, thiamine, and folic acid. Methylcobalamin, a B12 vitamin and active coenzyme, addresses peripheral and diabetic neuropathies by promoting healthy protein transport within cells and inhibiting nerve damage. Its role in transmethylation reactions accelerates metabolism of nucleic acids, proteins, and lipids, facilitating nerve tissue repair. The combined action of methylcobalamin, pyridoxine, and folic acid lowers homocysteine levels, a key risk factor for atherosclerosis and neuropathies. This formulation finds application in anemia (including folate-deficient megaloblastic anemia), chronic hemolytic states, renal dialysis, myelofibrosis, and the prevention and recurrence of neural tube defects.
