Overview Newnik SP501 Sphygmomanometer
The Newnik SP501 aneroid sphygmomanometer offers precise blood pressure and pulse rate measurement. Its innovative cuff design, coupled with a high-precision pressure gauge, ensures rapid and accurate readings. Specifications include a 22-32 cm cuff, a 300 mmHg manometer accurate to +/- 3 mmHg (no pin stop), and a clear, high-contrast dial. The robust die-cast gauge features a durable clip for secure attachment. The cuff and inflation bladder boast exceptional resistance to abrasion, chlorine, peroxide, and moisture, utilizing high-strength nylon and crack-resistant, latex-free PVC. A chrome-plated brass valve provides precise deflation control. The package includes a zippered nylon case, instructions, stethoscope, calibration key, and a one-year carry-in warranty. Accurate readings are achieved by placing the stethoscope over the brachial artery under the cuff's marking, inflating to 20-30 mmHg above anticipated systolic pressure, and slowly deflating at 2-3 mmHg/second. Note systolic and diastolic pressures according to Korotkoff sounds. Handle with care and refer to the instructions for safe and proper use. How to Use Newnik SP501 Sphygmomanometer:
Position the stethoscope's chest piece directly over the brachial artery, beneath the cuff's pressure indicator. Close the valve, then inflate the cuff using the bulb until the pressure reads 20–30 mmHg above your typical blood pressure. Slowly release the air from the cuff via the valve at a rate of 2–3 mmHg per second. Note the appearance of Korotkoff sounds as the systolic pressure, and their cessation as the diastolic pressure.
Safety Instruction of Newnik SP501 Sphygmomanometer:
