Overview Redent Gum Paint

Redent gum paint, a topical formulation, combines antiseptic and astringent components for localized treatment of severe oral bacterial infections and inflammation. Its active ingredients include potassium iodide and iodine, providing antiseptic and antimicrobial actions to eliminate bacteria. Tannic acid's astringent properties promote tissue contraction and hemostasis, firming the gums. Menthol offers localized analgesia and a cooling sensation, while camphor provides additional mild pain relief. Thymol contributes further antiseptic and antibacterial effects, reducing infection. This preparation is suitable for managing painful gum conditions, inflamed and bleeding gums, teething discomfort, and stomatitis. Application: After brushing, gently massage a small amount onto affected gums using a clean finger or cotton swab. Avoid rinsing or eating for at least 10 minutes to optimize absorption and healing. Then, spit and rinse thoroughly; do not ingest. Use as directed by a healthcare professional.
