REDI ORS adheres to WHO guidelines for Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS). This formulation combines dextrose with key electrolytes: sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and sodium citrate. REDI ORS replenishes fluids and electrolytes depleted by dehydration stemming from diarrhea, vomiting, muscle spasms, or strenuous activity in hot, humid conditions. Key ingredient functions: Sodium chloride maintains fluid balance and supports cellular function. Potassium chloride is vital for water balance, acid-base regulation, nerve and muscle function, and cardiovascular and renal health. Dextrose anhydrous, pure glucose, provides immediate energy and is a primary component of ORS.
