Mephenesin, methyl nicotinate, and capsicum oleoresin are the active components of Relaxyl Ointment. This ointment provides symptomatic relief from various musculoskeletal pain conditions, including: muscle spasms (e.g., calf or back muscle spasms); myalgias, myositis, and contractures; sprains and strains; cervical spondylitis; lumbago; adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder); arthritis affecting small joints (hands, knees, etc.); bursitis; tendonitis; and sports-related injuries. Application involves gentle massage onto the affected skin area. Allow at least 10 minutes for absorption before covering the area with clothing or gloves. Hand washing is crucial after application unless the hands are the treatment site. Avoid bandages, heat application, or wrapping the treated area. For external use only.
