Uses: Characterized by shivering fits or feverish tremors, often without thirst, accompanied by coldness, headache, a rapid and strong pulse, and persistent shivering even in warm environments. This may follow quinine use and present with irregular fever. Each 5ml contains: Chin. Sulph. 6x (0.75ml), Cinchona officinalis Q (0.75ml), Ars. Alb. 6x (0.50ml), Ipecac. 30x (0.75ml), Nat. Mur. 30x (0.75ml), Eupatorium 30x (0.50ml), Gelsemium 6x (1.00ml). Mechanism: Chin. Sulph. 6x addresses shivering with facial pallor and a slow, full, or weak pulse. Cinchona officinalis Q treats evening fevers, inability to warm up in bed, and pressing headaches. Ars. Alb. 6x is indicated for overall coldness, chills without thirst, worsened by drinking and external warmth. Ipecac. 30x manages shivering aggravated by external heat alongside internal chills. Nat. Mur. 30x addresses bone and back pain with fevers and three-hour morning chills. Eupatorium 30x is for chills exacerbated by movement and intense shivering with bone pain. Gelsemium 6x is used for daily chills at a consistent time. Consult a physician before use.
