Oral rehydration solution (ORS) powder, containing dextrose, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, and sodium citrate, replenishes electrolytes. Dextrose offers immediate energy. Potassium chloride, vital for organ function, addresses hypokalemia and supports numerous bodily processes. Sodium chloride, a salt supplement for low sodium levels, regulates fluid balance by reducing swelling. This ORS powder is indicated for: electrolyte imbalances in chronic fluid loss (e.g., diarrhea, vomiting); preventing hemodialysis-related muscle cramps; fluid and electrolyte replacement; hypernatremia; and nasal congestion.
