Blue flag (Iris versicolor) is a perennial herb used in remedies. Its applications address digestive issues such as appetite loss, intense burning sensations throughout the gastrointestinal tract, bloody and bile-tinged vomiting, excessive salivation, and a burning mouth and tongue feeling as if scalded. Watery diarrhea accompanied by anal and intestinal burning is also noted. Ear symptoms include deafness with tinnitus (buzzing, ringing, or roaring). Headaches, particularly on the right side, may follow blurred vision after periods of intense mental exertion, worsening at night and during rest, improving with movement.
