This homeopathic preparation, derived from potassium bichromate, effectively addresses mucous membrane inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory system, and various organs including bones, kidneys, heart, and liver. Characteristic is the migratory nature of its associated pains. Nasal symptoms include thick, tenacious, yellowish-green discharge; pain between the eyebrows and at the nasal tip; ulcerated septum; anosmia; violent sneezing; nasal congestion; and especially in plump infants, snuffles. Further nasal symptoms encompass root pressure, stabbing pain, and the formation of tough, stringy plugs leaving raw surfaces, accompanied by a foul odor. Throat involvement manifests as redness, burning, swelling, and pain, potentially indicating diphtheria; a relaxed, edematous uvula; burning sensation extending to the stomach; and tough, stringy oral and throat discharge. Meat intolerance is also common. Gastric symptoms include ulcers, nausea, beer-induced vomiting, and post-prandial relief. Liver and spleen discomfort may occur. Symptoms improve with warmth and worsen with beer and heat; post-meal heaviness and a sensation of arrested digestion are often present.
