This homeopathic medicine, derived from potassium bichromate, effectively addresses mucous membrane inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory system, and other organs including the bones, kidneys, heart, and liver. Characteristic symptoms include rapidly migrating pains. Nasal symptoms are prominent, featuring thick, tenacious, yellow-green discharge; pressure and pain between the eyebrows and at the nasal tip; ulcerated septum; anosmia; violent sneezing; nasal congestion; and tough, stringy mucus plugs leaving raw surfaces. Children, particularly those overweight, may exhibit snuffles. Throat symptoms include redness, burning, swelling, and even diphtheritic manifestations, with a relaxed, edematous uvula. A burning sensation may extend to the stomach, accompanied by tenacious oral and throat discharge. Meat intolerance is common.
