This homeopathic medicine, derived from Potassium Dichromate, effectively addresses mucous membrane inflammation throughout the body, including the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory system, bones, kidneys, heart, and liver. Characteristically, pain shifts rapidly between locations. Nasal symptoms include thick, tenacious, yellowish-green discharge; pain between the eyebrows and at the nasal tip; ulcerated septum; anosmia; violent sneezing; and nasal congestion. It's particularly suited to infants, especially those plump and robust, exhibiting nasal stuffiness. Additional nasal symptoms are pressure and pain at the nasal root, stabbing pain within the nose, ulceration (often round and fetid), and tough, stringy plugs leaving raw surfaces. Throat symptoms present as redness, burning, swelling, and pain (even diphtheritic); a relaxed, edematous uvula; burning sensation extending to the stomach; and tough, stringy oral and throat discharge. Meat digestion is impaired. Gastric indications include ulcers, nausea, beer-induced vomiting, and relief from food intake. Liver and spleen region pain is also addressed. Symptoms improve with warmth and worsen with beer and heat; a feeling of digestive arrest and post-prandial heaviness occur.
