Potassium bichromate is the base of this homeopathic preparation. Its action is notably effective on mucous membranes—stomach, intestinal, and respiratory linings—as well as bones, kidneys, heart, and liver. Pain frequently shifts location rapidly. Nasal symptoms include thick, tenacious, yellow-green discharge; pain and pressure between the eyebrows and at the nasal tip; ulcerated septum; anosmia; violent sneezing; and nasal congestion. It's particularly suited to the snuffles of overweight infants. The nasal septum may exhibit a round ulcer, with a foul odor and the formation of tough, stringy plugs leaving raw areas. Throat symptoms include redness, burning, swelling, and pain, even in diphtheria; a relaxed, edematous, sac-like uvula; burning extending to the stomach; and tough, stringy oral and throat discharge. Meat intolerance is common. Gastric ulcers, nausea, and beer-induced vomiting are also responsive. Stomach discomfort improves post-prandially. Liver and spleen pain may also be present. Symptoms are alleviated by warmth and aggravated by beer and heat. Post-meal heaviness and a sensation of arrested digestion may occur. Urinary symptoms include urethral burning and the sensation of residual urine after voiding, along with stringy mucus in the urine. Dosage: As directed by a physician.
