Potassium bichromate is the source of this homeopathic preparation. It effectively addresses mucous membrane inflammation in the stomach, intestines, and respiratory tract, and also exhibits affinity for the bones, kidneys, heart, and liver. Pain characteristically shifts rapidly from one location to another. Nasal symptoms include thick, tenacious, stringy, yellow-green discharge. Pain and pressure are felt between the eyebrows and at the nasal tip; the septum may be ulcerated. Loss of smell, violent sneezing, and nasal congestion are common. This remedy is particularly well-suited for nasal symptoms in plump infants. A feeling of pressure and stabbing pain at the nasal root may occur. Ulceration of the nasal septum, often circular, with a foul odor, is notable. The discharge is thick, ropy, and greenish-yellow, sometimes forming tough, elastic plugs which leave raw areas. Throat symptoms include redness, burning, pain, swelling, and even diphtheria. The uvula may be relaxed and swollen, resembling a bladder. Burning sensations extend to the stomach. Tough, stringy discharge from the mouth and throat may occur; meat digestion is impaired. This remedy aids in stomach ulcers, nausea, and beer-induced vomiting. Gastric complaints often improve after meals. Pain in the liver and spleen area may also be present. Symptoms improve with warmth and are worsened by beer and heat. A feeling of fullness occurs immediately after eating, with a sensation of digestive arrest. Round stomach ulcers are also indicated. Urinary symptoms include burning during urination and the sensation of retained urine after voiding. Stringy mucus may be present in the urine. Dosage: As directed by a physician.
