This homeopathic preparation, derived from Potassium Dichromate, addresses mucous membrane inflammation throughout the body, notably affecting the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory system, bones, kidneys, heart, and liver. Characteristic symptoms include rapidly shifting pains. Nasal symptoms present as thick, tenacious, yellow-green discharge; pain between the eyebrows and at the nasal tip; ulcerated septum; anosmia; violent sneezing; and congestion. Infants, particularly those plump and robust, may exhibit nasal sniffles. Additional nasal symptoms include root pressure, stabbing pain, ulceration (often round and fetid), tough stringy plugs leaving raw surfaces, and a thick, ropy, greenish-yellow discharge. Throat symptoms include redness, burning, swelling, and pain, potentially indicating diphtheria; a relaxed, edematous, and bladder-like uvula; burning sensations extending to the stomach; and a tough, stringy oral and pharyngeal discharge. Meat intolerance is common. Gastric symptoms include ulcers, nausea, beer-induced vomiting, and relief after eating. Hepatosplenic pain may be present. Symptoms improve with warmth and worsen with beer and heat, often accompanied by immediate postprandial fullness and a sensation of halted digestion. Urinary symptoms include urethral burning and a persistent, unexpelled post-micturition drop, along with ropy mucus in the urine.
