Leonurus cardiaca dilution finds application in cases of conjunctivitis. Characteristic symptoms include a dry, coated tongue—brownish-white with a cracked, tree-like pattern, centrally fissured. Patients experience intense thirst, but even small amounts of water (warm or cold) induce epigastric discomfort. Vomiting and persistent nausea often follow ingestion, accompanied by severe abdominal pain and tenderness. Pain is lessened by flexing the legs when lying on the side, and by extending the legs when supine. Frequent bowel movements, initially dark brown then bloody (without mucus), are typical, particularly during the initial night. Medical oversight is mandatory.
