Tiger Lily (Lilium tigrinum) is a homeopathic remedy derived from the plant. Its primary applications are in women's health issues and cardiac complaints. It's particularly suited to individuals characterized by constant anxiety, profound depression, and a propensity for weeping, especially unmarried women. The remedy is highly effective for pelvic disorders, notably uterine and ovarian pathologies. Symptoms may include early, scant, dark, clotted, and foul-smelling menstrual flow, only present during movement. Patients often experience a compelling urge to support their genitals externally, a bearing-down sensation with intense urgency to defecate, as if internal organs might prolapse, relieved only by rest. Uterine congestion and prolapse are also common indications. Ovarian pain may radiate down the thighs, accompanied by heightened libido.
