This medication treats severe throat inflammation marked by redness, swelling, intense pain, and uvular swelling. Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) is prominent, with pain radiating post-nasally and sharply into the ears. A burning sensation, significant swelling, and aggravation from light external pressure are characteristic. It's also indicated for intense urethral burning, hot, scanty, suppressed, or bloody/greenish, albuminous urine; bladder tenesmus; and stabbing pain extending from the urethra to the bladder. Post-micturition perspiration is noted. Symptoms typically worsen in the evening and night, and after acid ingestion, improving with rest. Always use under a doctor's care.
