Overview SBL Mercurius Cyanatus 0/5 LM
Mercury cyanide, the basis of Mercurius Cyanatus, finds application in acute illnesses, particularly respiratory and oral ailments. Characteristically, it addresses intense agitation, anger outbursts, and excessive speech, accompanied by sunken eyes and pallor. Oral manifestations include extensive ulceration, a pale tongue, profuse salivation, foul breath, swollen and painful salivary glands, and ulcers coated with a grayish film. Throat symptoms range from raw soreness and ulcerated, inflamed mucous membranes—especially noticeable in those who speak frequently—to hoarseness, painful speech, and potentially severe necrosis of the soft palate and throat. Intense throat redness and dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) may also occur. Further symptoms can include epistaxis (nosebleeds), diphtheria-like symptoms in the nose and larynx, nausea, bilious or bloody vomiting, hiccups, abdominal pain and tenderness, agonizing rectal pain, perianal redness, frequent bloody stools with tenesmus, foul-smelling, gangrenous discharge, and black stools. Urinary symptoms might include amber, painful, albuminous, and scanty urine, possibly indicating nephritis accompanied by profound weakness and chills, or urinary suppression. The skin may present with clammy coldness. Dosage should strictly follow physician's instructions; concurrent use with conventional medications is permissible. Adverse effects are not documented. Observe a 30-minute interval between Mercurius Cyanatus and other substances (food, drink, medications). Avoid strong-smelling substances like camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, and asafoetida during treatment. Strict medical supervision is mandatory.
