Quicksilver cyanide constitutes the base of Mercurius Cyanatus. Its application is primarily for acute illnesses, notably respiratory distress and oral ailments. Symptoms it may address include: intense agitation, rage, excessive speech; sunken eyes, pallor; extensive mouth ulceration, pale tongue, excessive salivation, foul breath, swollen and painful salivary glands, grayish oral ulcer membranes; raw, sore throat, ulcerated and inflamed mucous membranes (particularly in individuals who frequently speak), painful hoarseness and speech; necrotic tissue breakdown in the soft palate and throat; intense throat redness; severe dysphagia; dark nasal bleeding; diphtheria of the larynx and nose; nausea, bilious or bloody vomiting, hiccups; abdominal pain and tenderness; excruciating rectal pain, anal redness, frequent hemorrhaging with tenesmus, foul-smelling, gangrenous discharge, black stools; amber, painful, albuminous, scant urine; nephritis accompanied by profound weakness and chills; urinary retention; clammy, icy skin. Dosage: As directed by a physician. Compatible with conventional medications. Adverse effects: None reported. Precautions: Maintain a thirty-minute interval between ingestion and other substances (food, drink, medication).
