Overview SBL Mercurius Solubilis 0/18 LM
Mercury (Hydrargyrum), also known as quicksilver, is a homeopathic remedy derived from purified mercury. Its efficacy stems from the prepared mercury powder, ensuring safety and therapeutic benefit. Symptoms worsen nocturnally, during perspiration, in warm beds, and humid, cold weather. Extreme sensitivity to temperature fluctuations is characteristic. Offensive breath and discharges are common. A predisposition to ulceration, bleeding, and tissue disintegration is observed. Headaches are intense, accompanied by heat and inflammation; vertigo occurs in the supine position. A tight, bandaged sensation encircles the scalp; stinging, burning, foul-odorous eruptions and hair loss may occur. The scalp feels tense, with oily perspiration. Eyes experience burning sensations and corrosive discharges. This remedy is particularly well-suited for individuals working near fires or in metal foundries. Nosebleeds are frequent, along with foul-smelling, bloody discharges, nasal swelling, and bone destruction; sneezing is triggered by sunlight. Yellow-green, putrid, pus-like nasal drainage is typical, with nocturnal nosebleeds and copious, corrosive mucus. Ears exhibit thick, yellow, fetid, and bloody discharges; earaches worsen with warmth and at night. External ear boils may develop. Excessive salivation occurs, with spongy gums. The tongue is moist, yellow, and flaccid, accompanied by halitosis. Intense thirst for cold liquids and persistent hunger are present. The stomach is tender to the touch, with hiccups and regurgitation. Tremors and paralysis affect the extremities, along with nocturnal bone pain. Profuse perspiration offers no relief; itching is aggravated by warmth. Fevers feature excessive, unrelieving sweating, with alternating heat flushes. Dosage: As directed by a physician; compatible with conventional medications. Precautions: Maintain a 30-minute interval between ingestion and other substances (food, drink, medications). Avoid strong-smelling substances (e.g., camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, asafoetida) near the mouth. Reported side effects: None. Use under professional medical guidance.
