Mercurius Hydrargyrum, also known as Quicksilver, is a homeopathic remedy derived from precipitated mercury, offering therapeutic benefits while maintaining safety. Symptoms often worsen at night, during sweating, in warm beds, and cold, damp conditions. Extreme sensitivity to temperature fluctuations is characteristic. Discharges are typically foul-smelling, with a propensity for ulceration, bleeding, and tissue breakdown. Headaches are intense, accompanied by heat, inflammation, and a tight, bandaged feeling on the scalp. Scalp eruptions are stinging, burning, and foul, potentially leading to hair loss.
