Mercurius Hydrargyrum, also known as Quicksilver, is a homeopathic remedy derived from purified mercury, offering therapeutic benefits while maintaining a safe profile. Symptoms often worsen at night, during perspiration, in warm beds, and in cold, humid conditions. Patients exhibit heightened sensitivity to temperature fluctuations. Offensive odors emanate from breath and bodily discharges. A propensity for ulceration, bleeding, and tissue breakdown is characteristic. Headaches are intense, accompanied by heat, inflammation, and a tight, bandaged sensation. The scalp may experience stinging, burning, foul-smelling eruptions and hair loss, often with oily perspiration. Eyes burn intensely, secreting corrosive matter.
